THE PRIORY OF SION
THE GUARDIANS OF THE GRAIL

The Prieure de Sion was an authentic "monastic - Christian order". Sion or Zion is the ancient name of Jerusalem, where the Order was quartered in the Convent of Our Lady of Mount Zion (Har-Tzion). This Monastic Order later moved its headquarters to San Leonardo d’Acri in Palestine and later to Sicily. In 1617 it clearly ceased to exist and was absorbed by the Jesuit Order (from the Magic Labyrinth).

From some research carried out on dozens of documents, it has been discovered that the one and only Priory of Sion has not ceased to exist, indeed it has continued and continues to be active and operational all over the world through and through a series of Associations created for hoc in civil law in order to be able to act clearly. If anything, the termination could concern the other "Priory of Sion" repeatedly investigated in France and other countries where it would have carried out illegal activities and which have worried the various local governments but, fortunately for the True Priory, this is a another story.

The Order of Zion was born from the fusion of three elite and mystical associations: the Essenes, the Sages of Light (disciples of Ormus) and the monks of the Abbey of Sion. From the documents it emerged that it was the monks of the Priory of Sion who created the Order of the Knights Templar for the need to protect the descendants of the Royal Blood

In 1070 a group of Calabrian monks reached the Ardennes forest, property of Goffredo di Buglione. They were led by a certain Ursus, a name that from the Prieure documents is often linked to the Merovingian lineage and therefore Heirs of the Blood. That aforementioned group of monks had the protection of Matilde di Canossa, Duchess of Tuscany, Goffredo's aunt and adoptive mother. The Duchess gave the Monks a plot of land in Orval, in the Ardennes near Stenay (Normandy), where they built an Abbey. Among these monks there would also have been the tutor of Godfrey of Bouillon, that is Peter the Hermit, the main and charismatic preacher of the group who is considered the person who had conceived, promoted and disseminated the "First Crusade".

Godfrey of Bouillon, was a descendant of the Merovingian blood line through his great-grandfather Hugues of Long Nez and the latter was the great-grandson of Sigisbert VI Duke of Razès, who, after the conquest of Jerusalem in 1099, would have founded the Order of Monks of Our Lady of Sion, also commonly known as the Priory of Sion. For some historians, the name of the Order came from the decrepit and partially and precariously abandoned Abbey, located in the Holy Land, and dedicated to Our Lady of Sion, near Jerusalem. The foundation date is 1090, for others 1099. Some documents dated 07/19/1116 and 05/02/1125, signed by Prior Arnaldus, confirm that the Order of Sion existed since the time of the First Crusade. The name of Prior Arnaldus is linked to that of Hugues de Payns, the first Grand Master of the Temple.

After a few years, towards the end of the 11th century, that group of monks left the Abbey of Orval to disappear into thin air, but it is assumed that their destination was Jerusalem. From these continuous and mysterious movements we can hypothesize that the conquest of Jerusalem was well organized by a secret group, on which Godfrey of Bouillon also depended. In 1099 Jerusalem fell and the throne was offered to Godfrey of Bouillon, but the latter renounced in favor of Prince Baudouin of Flanders, his brother, who became the first King of Jerusalem with the name of Baudouin I.

The history of the Priory of Sion is marked by various historical moments, but above all by some documents and books that appeared in France after 1956, most of which are contained in the so-called “Dossier secrets” which are deposited at the Bibliothèque National in Paris.

From the research carried out by some serious and highly skilled scholars, fundamental documents have emerged that trace the way to discover the truth.

In the "Dossier Secrets" it appears that there was a mystical and reserved Order, called the "Priory of Sion", whose members were the creators of the Order of the Knights Templar. The latter represented, for some time, the armed and administrative arm of the Priory.

In 1114 the Knights Templar were already operating as an armed wing of the Order of Sion, but their Constitution was approved in 1118 at the request of Hughes de Payns and Andrea di Montbard (uncle of Bernard of Clairvaux).

In 1131 St. Bernard of Clairvaux - the highest exponent of the Order of Cistercian Friars - received, as a gift, the Abbey of Orval, already abandoned by the Calabrian monks, which from that moment became the seat of the Cistercians. The aforementioned Saint Bernard was most likely part of the first nucleus of the Priory, but above all he appears to be among the supporters of the Institution of the Order of the Knights Templar, in fact he drafted the Rule and contributed to their recognition.

Between 1115 and 1140 the Cistercians and the Templars had accumulated enormous wealth, both in sums of money and in territorial properties.

From the confidential documents of the Prieure de Sion it is clear that between 1118 and 1152 it maintained its seat in the Holy Land.

On the return of the "Second Crusade" King Louis VII returned to France accompanied by 95 monks from the Priory of Sion. One does not understand so much royal benevolence towards the members of the Priory. However we must take into account that the Priory was the financial and military power behind the Templars and therefore the explanation can be found in the fact that the King was indebted to the Knights of the Temple, as he had received, on loan, a lot of money. and various aids. The function of the monks was therefore that of guarantors and controllers.

After the fall of Jerusalem in 1187, all the members of the Priory returned to France, Italy and the other Latin-speaking states to their established bases.

Last and thirteenth Master of the Order of Sion was Gérard de Ridefort, but he too was the eleventh Grand Master of the Templars. He was dismissed from the position of Master in 1188, as he was held responsible for the fall of Jerusalem. On 15 August of the same year Jean de Gisors was elected Master of the Priory. In 1188 there was a break between the Knights Templar and the monks of the Priory of Sion, perhaps due to the loss of Jerusalem, which occurred the year before, or perhaps because the Templars had become very, too rich, proud and powerful and therefore no longer manageable by the Priory.

The split between the Priory and the Templars took place in Gisors, Normandy, with a ceremony called the "Cutting of the Elm" held in the Campo Sacro where an ancient 800-year-old elm stood and which was traditionally the place chosen for the meetings between the Kings of France and the Kings of England.

Furthermore, from the Dossiers we learn that since 1188 the Order of the Knights Templar had become autonomous. The various documents confirm that up to the aforementioned date the two Orders (Priory and Templars) had had the same Master. After the "Elm Cutting", the Master of the Priory and that of the Templars would no longer have any contact.

Following this historic split in 1188, the Order of Sion became a Priory, using the name of Ormus and Rose-Croix. The Prieure de Sion would have adopted "Ormus" until 1306, or a year before the arrest of the French Templars. The "Ormus" emblem is a kind of anagram, made up of a certain number of keywords and various symbols. The central "M" becomes an important symbol, which in addition to the peculiar meanings - both in an esoteric and exoteric sense - it is also the zodiac sign of the Virgin and the initial letter of the name of Mary, the Mother of Joshua Ben Joseph and, that is , Jesus.

According to the later Masonic Tradition, Ormus was the name of an Egyptian sage and mystic, who lived in the early years of the Christian era and converted in 46 AD. together with his followers, to Christianity. After his conversion, Ormus would have adopted an identification symbol for his followers: a red cross, similar to the one worn on the chest by the Knights Templar. Furthermore, a clear reference to the Rosicrucians appears from the documents of the Prieure de Sion, having always adopted in the same period, ie in 1188, in addition to the name "Ormus" also another subtitle, namely the name of "Ordre de la Rose - Croix Veritas" . By virtue of what we have stated above, we must assume that there was, and perhaps still exists today, a connection between the Priory, the Templars, the Rosicrucians and Freemasonry. Some scholars argue that the Priory of Sion is intimately connected with the creation and leadership of the Rosicrucians and, later, the Freemasons.

What is the purpose and teaching of the Prieure de Sion?

"It is an initiatory society of the highest level which, leaving its members with philosophical, political or religious freedom, continues to dispense its teaching. This teaching often triggers the anathemas of the Church, which wrote in a Roman bulletin: "... the Merovingian descendants were always at the base of the heresies, after Arianism, passing from the Cathars and the Templars to Freemasonry" (...) Let us remember, however, that in the 19th century the Church had concluded an alliance with the Merovingians in the period of Clovis's baptism, in Reims, an alliance that had made France the eldest daughter of the Church ... The Priory of Sion is a "cultural, spiritual, esoteric and initiatory" Order represents "The Keepers of the Grail" still exists and is fully active and operational. It is strictly confidential in nature, but not secret.

Members of the Order of the Priory of Sion, in a territory subject to the Italian government, are respectful and observant of the Italian Constitution, the Laws of the Civil Code and current legislation. Therefore, they specify that they have no interest in founding a Sacred European Empire, in overthrowing and replacing the Roman Catholic Church, in proposing the installation of a King of Israel and much less in participating in activities that may harm peace and the harmony between the religions and cultures of the various peoples. The Priory is an association of "Researchers, Free Thinkers" which aims, through the programmatic study of the Gospels, the Bible, Philosophy, Religion, Alchemy, Kabalah and all the wisdom literature, - to transmit to all those (men and women) who have acquired those particular cultural, spiritual and initiatory qualifications the tools to discover the mysterious Secret. In fact, it does not teach academic subjects (knowledge-known), but transmits traditional sapiential knowledge. This mysterious initiatory Secret that scholars give the name of "Grail or Lost Word," would have been guarded over the centuries by the Masters of the Priory of Sion, by the Knights Templar, by the Rosicrucians and, perhaps even by an elite part of Freemasonry. .

The Grail, in some esoteric traditions, is interpreted as a symbol of Knowledge, Wisdom, and the Primordial Tradition. The Grail would represent the "Lost Word", or that knowledge that was to be granted to the Edenic Adam whose symbol was symbolized by the Tree of Life. (Wikipedia).

Some esotericists believe that the "Holy Grail" could be a "secret about the life-death of Jesus Christ", of his marriage to Mary Magdalene and of their descendants. This marriage story would find confirmation in the Apocryphal Gospels. For scholars, the discovery of this secret could have changed the history of humanity. Among the various tasks of the Priory there was and still is that of protecting the “Holy Grail”, that is the genealogy and the descendants of the Blood of Christ and Mary Magdalene.

Today, in various countries of the world, there is a very active and operational "Priory of Sion" which follows the ancient Tradition: it is organized by "Languages" as it was, ab initio, for the Poor Comrades of Christ, that is the Templars. However, we must take note that some members of the other "Priory" follow that theoretical Priory who deals with politics, newspapers, pseudo genealogies and many other things that have distorted the true mission of the Order. We can guarantee you that there are groups of highly evolved spiritually and even esoterically people in the world who work for the constant search for truth and for the good of humanity. These chosen or initiated men have been there, are there and will always be there. We maintain that as long as there are these Wise and Righteous men, seekers of the Truth, there will always be a "Priory of Sion" which keeps that "Secret" to pass it on to those who are worthy of it. The "True Priory of Sion" is made up of "Righteous and Wise Men" committed daily to the "Search for the Grail" to restore, through its discovery, or the Lost Word, man to the edenic state, or in the image and likeness of God.

According to the Dossiers, Masters of the Priory have been, over the centuries, many famous people, among which we mention a few: Andrè de Montbard (1155-1156 uncle of Bernardo di Chiaravalle); Gérard de Rideford (1184-1188 last Grand Master of the Priory and the Templars); Jean de Gisors (1188-1220); Marie de Saint-Claire (1220-1266); Jean de Saint-Clair (1351-1366); Sandro Filipepi (Botticelli) (1483-1510); Leonardo da Vinci (1510-1519) Charles III, Duke of Bourbon (1519-1527); Ferdinando Gonzaga (1527-1575); Louis de Nevers (Louis II of Flanders) (1575-1595); Isaac Newton (1691-1727); Maximilian of Lorraine (1780-1801); Victor Hugo (1844-1885); Claude Debussy (1885-1918); Jean Cocteau (1918-1963); Francois Ducaud-Bourget (1963-1981) and others.

It is interesting to note that in the ancient texts we speak of the "MASTERS" of both the Priory and the Templars. The addition of the adjective "GRAN" occurred in the Renaissance period but is completely false.
